Last weekend I had the joy of participating in the Bicentennial Pilgrimage accompanying Our Lady for 42 miles! Our leg was comprised of 5 guardians but as many as 90 people walked with us over the three days.We traveled from Maria Stein to Minster and McCartyville, to Sidney and then to Piqua. We were surrounded by the beauty of serene country roads and touched by the incredible hospitality and faith of all the people we walked with or encountered along the way. I was deeply touched by the mystery of the Incarnation. To think that Jesus too, was a pilgrim on this earth, greeted and welcomed by many but blessing everyone regardless of their reception. Now Our Lady is walking through our lands, bringing out the goodness of people and blessing everyone as She goes by. I feel so proud of our Archdiocese! What a witness for the world to live and proclaim our faith with such a joyful witness, in a word, to RADIATE CHRIST. I am grateful we have all been invited to take an active role in consecrating our hearts to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on June 19th. I will treasure this experience forever and look forward to the day when all fellow pilgrims will unite again in our heavenly homeland. May each one of us open our hearts to share in the graces God wants to shower on us as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of our spiritual family in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Maria

Meet our Vocation Ministers
I consider myself blessed to work with an incredible team of Vocation Ministers, lay and consecrated men and women who work together to promote a culture of vocation and Consecrated Life in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. It is our hope that young people will discover the path planned for them through our endeavors. It would like you to meet these wonderful people.
Mrs. Jenna Legg
Coordinator of Vocation Ministry || Sisters of the Precious Blood
Co-Chair of Cincinnati Area Vocation Ministers
Jenna felt called to ministry beginning with her first taste of it as a leader in her high school youth group at St. Susanna. She’s had different titles over the years (college campus minister, high school campus minister and theology teacher) but all doing the same thing – helping young people encounter God!
Jenna’s husband, Shane, understands the demands of ministry– he’s the associate director for youth evangelization in the archdiocese. Ministry extends beyond both of their careers – they host young adult bible studies and have been blessed to be foster and adoptive parents to their three boys.
Jenna slipped into vocation ministry in 2018 after volunteering with the Sisters of the Precious Blood for a few years. She finds her own experience discerning religious life and marriage helpful in walking with young women as they explore what God might be calling them to. Jenna also serves as a co-chair for the Cincinnati area vocation ministers community, which helps coordinate archdiocesan-wide vocation endeavors.
Jenna is a firm believer that best conversations are had over coffee or ice cream, that God is often found in the outdoors, and dogs can teach us a lot about true love.
Discernment Events
New Discernment Series with the Precious Blood Sisters
Young adult women who are discerning their vocation are invited to join our book club. Beginning Saturday, June 5th, we will meet every other Saturday at 10am EST to discuss a chapter of our next book: Your One Wild & Precious Life by Mark-David Janus.
LET YOUR SERVICE SHINE! The women and men of religious congregations want to commemorate their role in the history of the Archdiocese by facilitating a Day of Service. Virtually every congregation that came to this archdiocese between 1829 and 1889 came to serve through education, healthcare and social work. Send a brief description of your plan for the day to S. Cheryl Erb cerb@sistersofmercy.org. If you have not formulated a plan yet, visit www.Cincy200.com for ideas, resources, partners, marketing flyers, etc. to create a service day plan before the end of June. Print off the Fact Sheet for your members with all the essential information.
"Laudato Si’ and the U.S. Catholic Church: A Conference Series on Our Common Home" is a biennial conference series to convene, equip, and inspire Catholics who can more deeply integrate Laudato Si’ and its climate change teaching into the U.S. Church.
The first convening was held at Creighton in June 2019 and the presentations were published in the Journal of Moral Theology. The second gathering will be held virtually July 13-15, 2021. In partnership with Creighton, the 2021 conference expresses Catholic Climate Covenant’s leading role coordinating U.S. Catholic enactment of the Vatican "Laudato Si’ Action Platform."The 2021 virtual gathering will be free and open to the public but registration is required. At the time of registration, attendees are encouraged to make a freewill donation to help offset conference costs that include Spanish language translations.
Want to walk with the Statue Guardians, but don't want to sign up for a whole leg of the pilgrimage? Now you can sign up for a day! Or just walk part way! Share in the grace!! This is the longest Marian Pilgrimage in the US! Consider walking with them spiritually or going to Mass with the Pilgrims.
A shout out to the Sisters of the Precious Blood who provided a delicious homemade lunch for us on our Pilgrimage!! It gave us the steam to get through the 14 miles walk! May God reward you for your kindness and generosity!
