By participating in a Conversations in the Spirit session, the people of the archdiocese will join with others others to prayerfully consider what the Holy Spirit is asking of our Church at this time. This is a great opportunity to contribute to Synod 2027 and assist Archbishop Casey as he establishes pastoral priorities for the future.
Synod 2027 has been designed to encourage broad participation from across the archdiocese. Sessions are offered in two formats: location sessions open to all, and cohort sessions designed to hear from specific groups of people, including parish staff members, young adults, parents of school children, and many more. |

A toolkit has been created for parish leaders to communicate about Synod 2027, including content to promote Conversations in the Spirit sessions. The toolkit is available on Catholic Social Media on the Resources page under Synod 2027. Communications leaders who do not yet have an account for Catholic Social Media may contact the Communications Department for assistance.
Please share this invitation as broadly as possible in the coming weeks. Sessions begin the first week of September and continue through Thanksgiving. |

It is time to start planning for your Family of Parishes' Annual Planning Report! Your Family of Parishes' specific Annual Planning Report (APR) template will soon be available! The APR is a vital opportunity for each Family of Parishes to reflect on their progress, celebrate wins, and chart a clear path forward in alignment with the Beacons of Light vision.
Submitting your Annual Plan by November 1 ensures your Family’s efforts are recognized and contributes to the broader Parish Vitality Report shared with Archbishop Casey and the faithful. |

It is important to make communication specific, honest and aspirational. By sharing what has happened in the past year in your Family and sharing your vision and plans for the coming year, parishioners will look forward to a brighter future for their Family and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Grateful Disciples begins with a foundational exploration of the vision of stewardship as a prayerful, living response to God’s grace in our lives. The process highlights six key steps in bringing this vision to life in the Family of Parishes and among parishioners. Prayer Resources for Meetings: One of the most fundamental things Family leaders can do is to pray together. Prayer aligns our ministry with God’s vision and praying unites our hearts and minds with one another through Christ. A prayer resource has been prepared for Family Leadership Teams and other groups of leaders to use each month. The resource draws on the readings for the coming Sunday so that leaders will be especially prepared for and reflect upon the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist.
