NOTE FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY

The Marriage & Family Evangelization Team is pleased to announce Archbishop Schnurr’s promulgation of the new Guidelines for the Marriage Catechumenate. All pastors will be receiving a hard copy in the mail this week, and a digital version is available on our Resources Page.

To help parishes with the implementation of these guidelines, we have created a sample job description for a parish Marriage & Family evangelist available on the Resources Page as well.

In addition, the Archdiocese will be hosting two Witness to Love training sessions this year. This virtues-based, catechumenate model of marriage formation is aimed at helping couples facilitate an authentic dialogue about their relationship. Please see below for more information and how to register.

Thank you for your ongoing support for the fruitful evangelization and discipleship of engaged and newlywed couples. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on our team.

Blessed Luigi and Maria Beltrame Quattrocchi, pray for us!

Sincerely in Christ,

Adriana Vasquez
Managing Director, Marriage & Family Evangelization Team
