New Ritual Book:
Order of the Anointing of the Sick and of their Pastoral Care

The new English translation of the Order of the Anointing of the Sick and of their Pastoral Care and the Spanish translation of the Ritual de la Unción de los enfermos y de su atención pastoral may be used from February 11, 2026 (memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick) and must be used as of April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday). EMHC Training and Formation

Training and formation for new and veteran extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion will be offered online and in-person over the coming weeks.

October 22, Weds, 1-3pm, On-line Zoom

October 28, Tues, 10am – 12pm, Mercy Fairfield Hospital
This presentation will focus on bringing the Eucharist to the hospitalized and home bound.

Bicentennial Hymn: Christ Our Light

Don’t forget that our bicentennial hymn, Christ Our Light, commissioned in 2021 and authored by Sr. Genevieve Glen, OSB, is a wonderful text for use during Christmastide and Winter Ordinary Time.  It can be easily sung to many familiar 8 7 8 7 D hymn tunes that most congregations will know.  A few settings and accompanying materials are available online.
