The Eucharistic Revival Continues:
Year of Mission |
This is an exciting new season of the Eucharistic Revival movement. The Holy Spirit has enkindled a missionary fire in the heart of our Archdiocese, and now the Holy Spirit is sending out every member of the Church to spread the Good News—sharing the gift of our Eucharistic Lord with those on the margins. And YOU are invited to be a part of it!
Archbishop Schnurr has said, "After having so joyfully and publicly welcomed the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage to the archdiocese last year, we now remind ourselves of the mission to be Christ for others." The Archdiocese has a number of opportunities planned for this Year of Mission. We look forward to joining you as we bring the healing love and presence of Christ to all of our sisters and brothers. |

Curious about progress toward parish vitality and the goals of Beacons of Light in our 57 Families of Parishes?
Archbishop Schnurr has released the 2025 Parish Vitality Report to bring everyone in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati up to date.
In addition to facts, figures, stories and witness, there’s an opportunity for you to give feedback on your experience of parish life, which will be used in future planning for our Family of Parishes.

2025 PARISH VITALITY REPORT |

Beacons of Light has at its foundation six guiding principles that, when lived fully in Families of Parishes, will lead to vital, mission-focused evangelizing communities of faith.
This month, we spotlight the Eucharist principle. Whether you have been involved as a parish leader since before the implementation of Beacons of Light or are new to parish leadership, it will be beneficial to renew your familiarity with the principle, its goals and vision for the future. |

The Mass is the source and summit of the whole Christian life. Accordingly, the Eucharist is the essential moment for building up and strengthening the parish community, along with the sacraments and other celebrations of the paschal mystery — the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. |
“The Eucharist, above all else, demonstrates that the harmony created by the Spirit is not uniformity and that every ecclesial gift is destined for the common good of all. Every celebration of the Eucharist is also an expression of the desire and call to a unity of all the Baptised not yet fully visible." |

We often lump the stages of discipleship into one big bucket, yet each stage of that journey will require different levels of formation, accompaniment, and training. Join us as we break open the stages of beginning disciple, growing disciple, and missionary disciple. Together we will imagine new ways to accompany people through the stages of discipleship and commission them for mission. Learn More
