I am pleased to announce that Katie Englefield has accepted the position of Managing Director of Parish Evangelization. In this role, Katie will succeed Shane Legg, who is transitioning into his new position with the Center for Pastoral Vitality.
As Managing Director, Katie will lead the Parish Support Team in its mission to form, equip, and coach parish evangelists throughout the Archdiocese.
Katie has served as a valued member of the Center for the New Evangelization for the past six years as Associate Director for Marriage Preparation on the Marriage and Family Evangelization Team. She brings with her decades of parish volunteer experience across many areas of evangelization and catechesis, along with several years of professional ministry experience in teaching and parish leadership. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Theology and Catechetics from Franciscan University of Steubenville and has spent the past six years serving in diocesan ministry.
Please join me in praying for Katie as she begins this new role and continues her service to the mission of evangelization.

Light the Match is a two-day conference designed to kick-start your ministry and energize your evangelization team for the year ahead. Each day features a dynamic keynote, a variety of breakout sessions, and, of course, great food and meaningful fellowship. This year’s theme is the voice of God.
Thanks to a new partnership with the Catherine of Siena Institute, the Called & Gifted charism discernment process, as well as Team Training, Ananias Training, and resources from the CSI store are available at a discount for all parishes of the archdiocese! You, ideally along with a team of others, will need to complete Called & Gifted and Team Training before you can provide the charism discernment process to your parishioners. Young Adult Pentecost Vigil Mass & Social Gathering
May 23 | 7:00 - 10:00 PM | St. Gertrude Church
All young adults (age 18 to 35) are invited to our Pentecost Vigil on Saturday, May 23, at St. Gertrude Parish (6543 Miami Ave., Madeira, OH). The free event begins at 7 p.m. with Mass, followed by a bonfire and social with burgers, hot dogs, and more from 8:30 to 10 p.m. All are invited to bring a side dish to share. Come ready for fun, food, and fellowship, and a hunger for the Lord and the gifts of the Holy Spirit that he wants to fill you with this Pentecost!

We’re now accepting registrations for our next Spanish Genesis Pre-Cana marriage retreat on August 29th at St. William Parish in Cincinnati. This Spanish version of the Genesis retreat is for Spanish-speaking couples only and prepares engaged couples for their upcoming marriage. Please share this amongst your Hispanic Communities.
