This month we are excited to introduce Jake Emser, our new Managing Director of Strategy and Communications.
Jake has joined our CNE Leadership Team and brings a wealth of experience in marketing strategy and digital and social communications. Much of Jake’s day-to-day work will be behind the scenes, though you will interact with his communications on a regular basis. This behind-the-scenes work is foundational to accomplishing our mission in the CNE. Welcome Jake! Lisa Fletcher is our outgoing Director of Communications. Lisa will be leaving us at the end of June. Lisa was instrumental in launching the CNE – our webpage, newsletter, and all of the ways we communicate with our audience. We are very grateful for Lisa, and we ask for God’s blessing for her in the next stage of her journey as a freelance writer!

The CNE Welcomes Jake Emser!
Jake Emser (jemser@catholicaoc.org) Managing Director of Strategy and Communications
We are excited to welcome Jake Emser to the CNE! Jake's main responsibility will be to work with each of the four teams in the CNE, along with the CNE as a whole, to establish the strategy and create the content we use to communicate CNE services, events, and opportunities to our various audiences.
Jakestudied marketing at Ashland University and most recently worked for a digital marketing agency, where he learned brand management and how to craft effective storytelling. He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Liz and son Charlie. Jake and his family are parishioners at St. Francis of Assisi and his wife teaches at Archbishop
Carroll High School.
In his free time, Jake loves to be outdoors, cycling on the bike trails throughout the Miami Valley, visiting local craft breweries, and cheering on the local sports teams!

ARK Testing
The Parish Support Team is working with ARK, the new assessment of Catholic religion education, to prepare for the launch of ARK for the 2024/2025 school year. We will soon announce the schedule of webinars, meetings, and resources for you to learn everything you need to know about ARK!
