Dear Friends,

We're excited to invite you to the first part of our two-part series, Culture for Mission. In our first part on December 2nd, we'll be discussing the journey from pre-trust to initial conversion within the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship. This workshop aims to establish a framework and shared language for evangelization and discipleship throughout our Archdiocese.

We invite you to join us on December 2nd as we break open the stages of pre-conversion, including pre-trust, trust, curiosity, openness, and seeking. Together, we will imagine new ways to accompany people through these often overlooked stages of the spiritual journey.

Archdiocese Policy on Catholic High Schools and Initiation Ministry

Each year, as our Catholic High Schools take up the task of forming and evangelizing every student in their care, we have the happy problem of discerning how to minister to students who wish to become Catholic. Motivated by this and by the new National Statutes of the OCIA, the Center for the New Evangelization, in collaboration with the Office for Divine Worship and Sacraments and the Catholic Schools Office, have developed the following policy that outlines what a partnership between the parish and the school might look like so that our schools can play an important role in the Christian initiation of our students while still ensuring that the parish is the primary context for this journey.

Connected Through Christ

Connected Through Christ is a group for parents of children that suffer from gender dysphoria. The group is intended for parents to support each other through challenging times and to pray together. The core values of Connected Through Christ are based on a Christian understanding of male and female as articulated in Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Meetings are held once a month at a Cincinnati east side parish. Email cincyctc@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining the group.
