Dear Friends,

The work of parish staff is built upon sacrifice, service, and compassion. This work is among the most rewarding and the most exhausting. You are consistently making yourselves available beyond the workday - unlocking doors or spending hours in prayer for parishioners - without asking anything in return. You give and give of yourself even as you ask Jesus if there is anything left to give. You are the harvesters that Jesus has asked to go into the fields and work tirelessly to bring in the harvest.

I hope you'll consider taking a step back this year, taking a deep breath, and being still. My team and I want to provide a space for you to rest, receive from the Lord, and reflect on your own relationship with Jesus. That space is the Reignite Retreat on January 26 - 27, 2026 at the Spiritual Center at Maria Stein. We invite you to take a break from the busyness of ministry for two days with other parish staff from around the Archdiocese and attend Reignite.
